The World 4x4 team will be spending the whole winter, 5 months, reccying the routes through India, from Ladakh, through Rajasthan down to Goa, with our Indian partners, to tailor the trips specifically for British groups. RAJASTHAN This 14 day self drive tour through the amazing desert landscapes takes you to the highlights of Rajasthan, one of the most culturally vibrant and evocative states of India. You get to drive Indian made Mahindra Jeeps along desert tracks, sharing the road with nonchalant camels as we visit such cultural high-lights as the Taj-Mahal, Jodhpur, Agra’s Red Fort and Jaipur.

WESTERN HIMALAYAS LADAKH This amazing 4x4 expedition starts in the lush alpine valleys of the Lower Himalayas and heads north to explore the rough barren landscapes and high altitudes of fabled and mysterious Ladakh region one of the remotest places of the world. You will get to see some of the most stunning views you could imagine. Every turn into a new valley produces a breathtaking change of colour, texture, and formation. Enormously deep river canyons combine with wind, rain and ice to carve stunning natural sculptures out of the rock and gravel. Impossibly isolated monasteries cling to outcrops of rocks and groups of wild horses run free in the valleys. You will even get to drive over the Khardung La pass, which at 5602 metres is the highest navigable pass in the world!!

GOA AND KERALA Combine a beach holiday with a 4x4 tour! But not any 4x4 tour, one that you get to drive the vehicle all the way, in one of the most stunning parts of the world! We’ll skip from relaxed hippy villages on pristine beaches into the lush forests of Kerala, from miles of perfect white sand to ancient temples hidden in the jungle!
