PART HUMANITARIAN AID TRIP, PART 4X4 TOUR

For a long time we have combined our trips abroad with some kind of humanitarian work and we have now come accross a new project in western Poland. We are looking for a group of people to drive out and refurbish the old stables to make several new rooms for the region's homeless. I have recieved a large responce to this project, so I will set the date for the 9th of September so that everyone can make their plans, book their holidays and whatever.

The plan for the next trip is to get into the barn, fix the missing corrugated sheeting and perlins and then partition off some of the old stalls into rooms, with a ceiling, walls and a door and a window. If we give ourselves the target of 4 rooms that means that 4 families will have warm shelter for the winter. Anything else we do, and there’s about 20 stalls in the barn, will be a bonus. I also want to give £1500 to the project for them to buy the materials for the roof on the massive old vodka factory building.

There is no real structure to this trip. You are welcome to join us for as long as you want, do as much work as you like, donate as much effort and money into it as you want. You won’t be paying me a penny, you’ll just be paying your own way, fuel and food, and then you can decide how much off-roading, canoeing, horse riding etc you want.
